South Down

South Down county in Guiding terms, covers most of the southern half of the geographical county, and is divided into 5 distinct districts; namely

 

Ballynahinch

Dromore and Hillsborough

Banbridge

Newry

Downpatrick

 

The county currently has 55 units meetng on a regular basis as well as an active Trefoil Guild. All sections are represented with 18 “Rainbow”, 22 “Brownie”, 13 “Guide” and 2 “Senior Section” units spread throughout the county.

The girls are involved in a wide range of activities and the emphasis is on everyone enjoying their guiding experience and having fun.
