What Rainbows Do

Rainbows take part in lots of fun activities in their unit such as playing games, making crafts, singing songs and cooking.

Rainbows regularly go on outings to exciting places across Northern Ireland. In the past, these have included trips to Belfast Zoo, Castle Espie or a visit to Lorne for a teddy bears picnic or a princess party.

The Rainbow activity programme

Being a Rainbow is all about developing self-confidence, building friendships, trying new things and having fun. Rainbows enjoy a programme called the Rainbow Jigsaw which follows the key themes of:

  • Look
  • Learn
  • Laugh
  • Love.

Rainbows learn by doing - they get their hands dirty with arts and crafts, cooking and playing games.
