Camp CEO

Camp CEO

Camp CEO is a four day residential event, where girls will get the opportunity to spend one-to-one time learning from an inspiring female CEO or business leaders. Its a chance to think about what their goals are and how to reach them, as well as meet other young Girlguiding members, do fun activities and take part in interesting workshops.

Girls don’t need to have done anything like this before - they just need to be enthusiastic, ready to work hard and committed to finding out where their future could take them.

We currently have 11 of the 20 mentors signed up including: Hilary Even from Alzheimer’s, Kathleen Britain from Barclay’s, Joanna Santinon from EY and Catherine Hicks from Sky.

WHO - Girls aged 14 -17

WHERE - Wyboston Lakes, Bedfordshire

WHEN - Sunday 22nd July - Thursday 26th July 2018

COST - No Cost! Girlguiding will cover all expenses including transport, food and accommodation.

Application Process

Leaders can nominate girls for the programme through the website and Girlguiding HQ will get in touch with them to ask them to apply. The purpose of the nomination is to try and encourage girls who would not normally apply to the programme to feel supported and boost their confidence in applying. Leaders should talk to the girls they are nominating before sending off the nomination form.

Nominations will open Wednesday 10th January 2018.

Girls can also apply for the programme by filling in an online application form that asks the girls why they want to take part in Camp CEO and how they think the event will benefit them.

Applications open Thursday 1st February and will close on Thursday 22nd March 2018.
