Community Relations Residential

.

Girlguiding Ulster have 12 places for Guides (aged 10-14) and 3 leaders to participate in the next 6 uniformed Community Relations Project. We aim to involve 3 units, 4 Guides and 1 leader from each. The project will run from September 2018 - March 2019.

There will be three FREE action packed residential weekends which all participants selected will attend:

1. Greenhill YMCA - 19th - 21st October 2018

2. The Share Centre - 23rd - 25th November 2018

3. Lorne Estate - 25th - 27th January 2019

Last years participants had a fantastic experience exploring new skills, activities and making new friends from various organisations.

Two of the three weekends include outdoor activities at the residential centres where everyone can test their adventure levels climbing the highest tower, speeding across the zip line, eying up their target in archery and lots more adventure!

Each weekend will create new experiences for the girls allowing them to openly explore issues such as sectarianism, disability awareness, mental health, racism, equality etc.

We highly recommend this programme as the feedback from previous years has been fantastic! The programme is fully funded so there is no cost for girls or leaders.

Closing date 30th June.

Please contact Claire Flowers at Claire@girlguidingulster.org.uk to reserve your place.
