Girlguiding Ulster Awards
Do you know a leader or young member who has made an outstanding contribution to Girlguiding?
Show your thanks and appreciation to someone by nominating them for a Girlguiding Ulster award!
The committee will look for evidence and examples of the following, to show how the person nominated ‘stands outs:
- Skills and qualities of the person (e.g. enthusiasm and any other qualities that make her stand out)
- Impact on Girlguiding in the unit, District, County (Whichever applies)
- Specific events or incidents e.g. camps, holidays, anecdotes
Two categories of awards:
- Girlguiding Ulster Award
- Girlguiding Ulster Award for young members (Any member under the age of 25 can be nominated)
All nominations must be made by the leader of the young member’s unit and endorsed by the County Commissioner.
