Habitat for Humanity

Habitat NI’s Youth Build brings together 16-18 year olds from across Northern Ireland to work alongside struggling communities in Romania in late June/July.

Habitat NI’s Youth Build is a unique opportunity to learn about the impact of poverty housing first-hand in Romania. Volunteers build beside families and communities, engage with local youth programmes and experience the country’s vibrant culture. Habitat co-ordinates everything that is needed for a safe and rewarding experience. All training is provided. You could be doing anything, from digging foundations and raising walls to painting and decorating.

For more information, Habitat NI are holding Youth Build information sessions at:

Lisburn – Thursday 21st September, Habitat ReStore at 7pm (Riverside Centre, Young Street, Lisburn, BT27 5EA).

Ballymena – Wednesday 27th September, Habitat ReStore at 7pm (The Bridge Retail Park, Larne Road, Ballymena, BT42 3HA).

To access an application form please click here. The deadline for signing up is Friday 6th October.

Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to struggling communities and work with Habitat NI! Good Luck!
