Girlguiding Ulster is looking to recruit an Operations Assistant - Communications. (35 house per week, 5 days out of 7) Based at Lorne Estate, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service to all clients of Lorne and Girlguiding Ulster members. Tasks will include dealing with general enquiries, promoting Lorne at every opportunity and ensuring all office administration is completed efficiently. No two days are the same - the only constant is working within a great team, striving to exceed our customer expectations.

In addition, you will regularly update our websites and social media accounts and prepare a regular e-newsletter for the membership. This will involve liaising with the Girlguiding PR officer, taking part in teleconferences and occasionally travelling to London for meetings and trainings.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people in a varied and challenging environments, have great IT skills and be able to work accurately and pay attention to detail.

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team as a Development Officer. This person will work with local guiding to identify and respond to the needs of girls and young women experiencing socio-economic disadvantage and low self esteem. You will recruit participants and volunteers to take part in Girlguiding’s wide programme of activities for girls and young women.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young people and youth organisations. You will also have great IT and communications skills.

We are also recruiting for a Shop Assistant to work in our busy shop at Lorne.(14 hours per week, including every other Saturday) Tasks will include providing excellent customer service, processing customer orders, ensuring shelves are kept stocked and displaying merchandising in an effective way to maximise sales. You will love working with people and have a good eye for detail.
