Leaders are asked to book a place for each Brownie and Leader walker into one of the time slots available below. This will be the time you should be ready to begin your walk.
Registration will be £1 each (including Leaders) This is to cover the cost of badges. This amount will be deducted from your final donation.
An email will follow within a week of your booking with our printable Sponsorship Forms and guidance materials.
Please note this page is for BROWNIE units only.
There are a limited number of spaces within each time slot to prevent overcrowding at the starting point, however, should you encounter any problems booking onto the walk please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Lorne Walk will be a large gathering of children and young people along the coastal path and at Lorne. If you or parents have any concerns regarding Coronavirus, we have prepared the following information:
You should not be unduly worried about the possibility of your children catching the Coronavirus. Government advice indicates that there is no reason why your children should not continue to attend their early years, school or further education setting as normal and this event would be classed the same.
What action can you take?
A UK wide campaign has been launched to provide clear advice on how to slow the spread of Coronavirus. Please help to support the campaign which promotes basic hygiene practices, such as regularly washing hands and always sneezing into a tissue, to stem the spread of viruses. Ensure your girls are aware of the basic principles below and have tissues with them. As a leader you may also wish to carry antibacterial gel to use for yourself and your girls with permission.
